We are planning to hold a Water Trail Trip on Saturday, May 23 on the White Oak Bayou. We will have two launch times from the access point. The two launch times will be at 9:00A.M. and 12:00P.M.! The section of the White Oak Bayou we will be floating will be at the end of Country Club Parkway and Corondelet Lane (please see attached Water Trail Map). We have the landowners permission to canoe this section for this weekend.
One of the consultants working on the White Oak Bayou project will accompany each group onto the Bayou and point out interesting features and facts.
Canoes/kayaks and personal flotation devices will not be provided so please bring your own or a friends. Other suggested items to bring include: water, snacks, insect repellant, hat, sunglasses, small towel, sunscreen, binoculars, and camera.
