Welcome to Maumelle Center on the Lake!

We are thrilled to have you as part of our volunteer team with the City of Maumelle Department of Senior Services. Your time, energy, and compassion help us create a warm and engaging environment for the seniors of Maumelle.

At the Maumelle Center on the Lake, we take great pride in serving our community through meaningful programs, special events, and daily activities that enrich lives and foster connections. None of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers — people just like you who give their time and talents to make a difference!

You’ll find a friendly, caring, and fun atmosphere at the Center and throughout all of our volunteer programs. As part of our team, you are joining an elite group of dedicated individuals who are passionate about serving others and supporting the mission of the Department of Senior Services.

We offer a variety of volunteer positions, both scheduled and episodic (occasional), to fit your availability and interests.
Roles include:
• Drivers – Help transport members for activities, appointments, or outings
• Docents/Greeters – Welcome visitors, provide information, and assist at the front desk
• Café Front – Serve guests, handle light cash transactions, and ensure a friendly dining atmosphere
• Café Back – Assist with food prep, cleaning, and organization in the kitchen area
• Instructors – Lead classes or workshops in your area of expertise
• Special Projects – Assist with special events, fundraisers, and community programs
